Great Start Collaborative and Early Childhood Projects Coordinator


Responsibilities:

Promote collaboration between agencies, businesses, schools and families in order to advocate for programs and services for children birth to five years of age and their families.

Funding:
Early Childhood Investment Corporation, Great Start Collaborative Grant

Michigan Department of Education, Michigan School Readiness Consortium Grant

Michigan Department of Education, Great Parents Great Start Grant

Early Childhood Connections Community Coordinator for Charlotte, Bellevue, Vermontville, Sunfield, Mulliken and City of Grand Ledge areas

Responsibilities:

Assist local communities to advocate and provide services for children birth to five and their families.  This includes coordinating local community action teams, supporting Toddler Times, and coordinating community events that support early literacy and school readiness.

Funding:
Eaton County United Way through a grant from the Eaton County Juvenile Justice Millage

Early Childhood Connections Community Coordinator for Eaton Rapids, Dimondale, Olivet, Potterville, and the Delta Township areas

Responsibilities:

Assist local communities to advocate and provide services for children birth to five and their families.  This includes coordinating local community action teams, supporting Toddler Times, and coordinating community events that support early literacy and school readiness.

Eaton County United Way through a grant from the Eaton County Juvenile Justice Millage

Early Childhood Connections Community Coordinator countywide support

Responsibilities:

Assist Community Coordinators to advocate and provide services for children birth to five and their families.  This includes assisting with coordination of local community action teams, supporting Toddler Times, and coordinating community events that support early literacy and school readiness.

Great Parents Great Start Parent Educator


Responsibilities:

Provide voluntary in-home parent education and support based on the Nurturing Parenting curriculum.

Funding:
Eaton Intermediate School District through the MDE Great Parents Great Start grant

Michigan School Readiness Program teacher


Responsibilities:

Provide a free quality preschool classroom experience for children of the Grand Ledge and Potterville School Districts, and who qualify with at least two of the eligibility criteria factors.  Number of students served is dependent upon the grant received from MDE.

Great Start Parent Coordinator


Responsibilities:

Assist parents in becoming advocates for their children and families in order to access services, become activist within their local and statewide communities, and assist their children to become successful in school and life.
